Keep a record of all your
actions in Bigin!

You'll find it under Settings → Data Administration → Audit Log. It opens as a chronological timeline of every action taken in your account, with filters to narrow things down and an option to export what you need.

The log covers a wide range of activity: creating, editing, approving, and deleting records; data imports and exports; installing and removing toppings; user role assignments and changes; workflow changes; and backup and restore actions. Anything that affects your data or setup gets tracked.

Yes. You can filter by the action performed, the entity it was performed on, the user who performed it, and when it happened. That makes it quick to zero in on a particular change instead of scrolling the whole timeline.

Yes. You can export your audit logs as a CSV file, which is handy for periodic audits, compliance reviews, or archiving. The download link stays available on the Audit Log page for seven days after you export it.

It depends on the user's role. Admins can view and export the logs for everyone in the account, while standard and other users can only see the actions they've performed themselves. That keeps full oversight with the people who need it.

Yes. You can back up your Bigin data instantly, and once it's done, you'll receive both an in-app notification and an email. The entire process, from starting the backup to receiving the downloadable zip file, is recorded in your audit log.

Deleted records aren't gone for good right away—they move to the Recycle Bin. If you need one back, you can restore it, and it returns to the module it was in before it was deleted.

Yes. In addition to restoring records, the Recycle Bin lets you permanently delete them when you're sure you no longer need them. That way you can clear out data for good rather than leaving it sitting there.
